To celebrate their fifteen-year anniversary, King of Europe is reborn as Drift Kings International Series as the official 2019 series calendar is launched.
Almost fifteen years after its very first event, King of Europe Ltd – a sports and entertainment firm with a focus on new motorsports – will change its corporate name to Drift Kings International Series. This decision has been made in response to wide-ranging changes in the business drifting context.
Drift Kings International Series CEO said that the company had been working towards this name change to coincide with the launch of a brand-new company website and the introduction of an updated Corporate Identity with major strategy changes in communication and marketing.
Drift Kings International Series has now announced the 2019 venues and dates for its seven international championships. These tournaments shall be broadcast live via the Extreme Sports Channel's social media and feature some of the best drivers from across the world competing throughout four continents. Drift Kings International Series has become the battleground for the best drifters in the world, with drivers attending from fifty-four countries across the world since 2005.
Mastering Europe with five unique series, Pro Series, Pro2 Series, Female Series, Mountain Challenge (Touge) and Italian SuperCup. Drift Kings is recognized as the oldest professional drifting championship on the continent. Open to top-level drivers and run over seven rounds, the Pro Series is the ultimate prize for drifters. Our Pro2 Series gives semi-pro drifters a chance to enter international events in front of a professional panel of judges and audience. In the only female-orientated drifting series running across Europe, our Queen Series gives the best female drivers the opportunity to battle it out for the title of number one drift girl. The unique Touge Series is composed of high altitude tricky drift layouts dedicated to the drifters with elite skills and no fear. Drift Kings: Italy and Drift Kings: Cyprus gives drivers the opportunity to have a national championship with all the advantages of an international series. It also offers drivers the chance for Italian series to run on a Pro Series layout during the season.
Drift Kings: Asia was our first series created outside of Europe which was established in 2015. We return to Asia for the fifth consecutive season this year in a three-round competition dedicated to the hottest region when it comes to drifting, talent and also temperatures!
Last but not least, Drift Kings: Nations Pro Series will once again be the ultimate platform for drifters throughout the world in 2019. With seven official rounds split across Europe and Asia, plus two additional single events across four continents, no other competition is going wider and larger than this! Over 400 drivers from across the globe have attended our events in 2018, demonstrating the demand for our property both in Europe and abroad. In 2019 we expect to see more fans, more excitement, and more full driver line-ups than ever before!
